One of the things that can ruin your day is receiving a parking summon. What makes it worse is when you don’t even know about it or were not even informed of it.

One user on Facebook recently took to the Penduduk Sungai Petani Facebook group to call out the driver of a Perodua Alza out for apparently stealing his traffic ticket in order to avoid paying the fine.

In their post, they wrote, “They took my parking summon and put it on their car’s windshield. The driver probably did it to fool the police officer from penalising them.”

“It was weird to see the car near mine receive a parking summon but not me. Turns out, my penalty notice is at the Alza car. If I didn’t retrieve the ticket, I wouldn’t even realised that I was fined in the first place! What an idiot.”

The post has been shared around on various other Facebook groups such as the ‘B40 Buat Perangai Apa Harini’.

Fighting over summons

Many netizens took to the comments section of the post to weigh in on the issue and some netizens expressed their shock after seeing that it was the first time they noticed people “fighting over” parking summons.

“This wasn’t a case of fighting over parking summons. This is a case of someone pretending to avoid getting summoned.”

“Even a parking summon you want to fight over. I thought we just fight over women,” said another user.

Meanwhile, others also questioned on whether the person would be fined twice if the police were to issue another summon.
