M'Sia Finally Has A Truly Customisable Telco Plan And Everyone Wants A Piece Of It - World Of Buzz 14

How often have you applied for a telco plan but never really found one that really suited your needs? You end up having to settle for the next best thing, which usually means sacrificing certain things. Sometimes, you even ‘willingly’ pay for services you don’t use to get what you do use! Frus right?!

Well, chuck your frustrations out the window because a new telco is in town and it’s got everyone hyped over it! Why? Namely because it’s designed for you by none other than YOU!

The first TRULY customisable mobile plan, Yoodo, was just introduced in Malaysia. It allows you to decide what’s the best plan for yourself. PLUS, it’s all 100% online!

Here’s why most of us are raving about it:

1. Choose your own data, call, or SMS limit

With adjustable sliders for you to choose your own data, calls or SMS usage via the Yoodo app, you can create over 1,000 possible combinations! The best part about it? You can even do away with unused call time and SMS quota (because who even uses SMS anymore) and only pay for what you’re using!

For instance, if I’m a broke student who only needs 2GB of data, then I only have to pay RM20 a month. Yes, this is for real.

2. NO contracts, NO commitments, NO hidden charges

Users have the option whether to continue or discontinue their monthly plan via the auto-renewal function on the app. This also means that you can set your bill payments to auto deduct the monthly amounts from your credit or debit card. Convenient right?! And if you find that Yoodo may not be your thing (although we highly doubt so), you can leave or come back to your plan at any time without having to pay a cancellation fee.

3. FREE SIM card and delivery right to your doorstep!

Because everything is online, all you have to do is sign up for a Yoodo account via the app, order your SIM and voilà! No more lining up at a service centre just to get a SIM card. Did we also mention that the SIM card AND the delivery are free? You can even opt for a premium delivery and get your SIM card in 2 hours within the Klang Valley area (but of course this one need to pay a bit more la, express ma!)

4. FREE switch over and port-in from existing numbers

Keep your existing number and port-in to Yoodo for free or get a new one from Yoodo! You can even choose a number that consists of your favourite 4-digit combination.

5. Wide network coverage and seamless connectivity

You must be thinking, line okay one anot? Well, Yoodo rides on Celcom’s wide 4G/LTE network coverage so you won’t have to worry about whether you’ll be able to get a signal or not. No need to ‘Lion King’ your phones just to get one bar of line anymore.

6. Chat with other Yoodo users and experience seamless customer service

The Community Forum via the Yoodo app or website creates a platform for users to discuss or enquire about anything to get the best of their Yoodo experience. For times when Yoodo-n’t know what to do, talk to their customer service experts via the Live Chat option.

7. Affordable roaming plans

Yoodo’s Roam Like Home lets you call back home from 12 countries across SEA with more coming soon at a flat rate of RM10/day! Of course, there is the conventional international roaming plans as well and even those are customisable!

Sounds cool right? We also never heard of such plans before! But of course, hearing about it doesn’t compare to experiencing it for yourself! Still not convinced? Yoodo’s got an additional bonus for you this time around too!

In conjunction with the CNY celebrations, Yoodo is giving all new and existing users a limited-time-only additional data booster pack of 8GB for ONLY RM8! That’s only RM1 per 1GB worth of data! Fatt lo! Find out more about how you can get in on this promo here.

Still wait ah? No need liao! Check Yoodo out here and sign up now!
