We are now in Day 14 in the Second Phase of the Movement Control Order. The number of positive cases just keep on rising but at the same time, the number of discharge cases is rising right beside it.

According to a live stream by the Ministry of Health on Facebook, there are 170 new cases in Malaysia today as of 12pm, bringing the total number of cases to 4,987 cases. There are currently 2,427 active cases.

Of all these cases reported, 60 patients are said to be in critical condition now and 33 cases are in need of respiratory equipment to help keep them breathing.

202 cases have been discharged today (14th April) and the total number of patients discharged since February is 2,478 cases.

There is an addition of 5 cases today bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia to 82 cases.

The Ministry of Health advises everyone to stay home, stay hygienic and to abide by the Movement Control Order. 82 deaths are already enough and we would not want to see more casualties. #StayAtHome

Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates!
