As we enter the third phase of this MCO, many are hoping and believing that staying at home will help break the chain of infection to flatten the curve and reduce our country’s daily tally of recorded Covid-19 cases. Here’s today’s daily update:
According to a live stream by the Ministry of Health on Facebook, there are 134 new cases in Malaysia today as of 5:30pm, bringing the total number of cases to 4,817 cases.
Of all these cases reported, 66 patients are said to be in critical condition now and 36 cases are in need of respiratory equipment to help keep them breathing.
168 cases have been discharged today (13th April) and the total number of patients discharged since February is 2,276 cases. The amount of people that have been discharged today have fortunately exceeded the amount of people who tested positive.
Unfortunately, another death was recorded today, bringing the death toll in Malaysia to 77 cases.
The Ministry of Health advises everyone to stay home, stay hygienic and to abide by the Movement Control Order. 77 deaths are already enough and we would not want to see more casualties. #StayAtHome
Stay safe and stay tuned for more updates!
