It is somehow a fact that there are talented Malaysians out there, and one of them is a former student of MRSM Kota Putra, Besut, Fakhirah Khairuddin. She has succeeded in becoming an engineer at the world-famous automotive company Tesla.
Through the sharing of a counsellor, Dr Zulkifli Hussain on Facebook, Fakhirah who now lives in Fremont, California working as a Technical Training Robotics Engineering Instructor at Tesla. Before successfully getting the job, she had taken BS Aerospace Engineering in 2019 at the University of California San Diego sponsored by MARA and then got a scholarship from the University of California San Diego for her MS Mechanical Engineering in 2021.
Dr Zulkifli also revealed that the MRSM Ulul Albab where Fakhirah got her initial boost in achieving her dreams, was established to produce MRSM students who are professional believers. The goal to produce MRSM students who follow STEM (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) is still applicable at MRSM Ulul Albab but more than that students are challenged to memorize and appreciate the Quran as a daily practice.
