UMNO Youth Chief Datuk Dr Akmal Saleh has issued a stern warning to scammers who have stolen his identity for illicit activities.
According to Akmal, the impersonators are pretending to offer loans but require victims to deposit funds first, a classic “advance-fee” scam tactic.

“I do not lend money, and I never ask anyone to bank in funds to me first,” he clarified.
Frustrations and consequences
Akmal, who is also the Merlimau Assemblyman, did not hold back his frustration, warning the scammers of the consequences of their actions.
In a Facebook post last night (3 March), he expressed a strong desire for those behind the fake accounts to face significant hardship and be held accountable for their deeds. His message also highlighted the potential damage these scams cause to both his reputation and his unsuspecting followers.
To help the public distinguish his real presence from impostors, he listed his official social media profiles:
- TikTok (@Dr akmalsaleh),
- Facebook (@akmal saleh & @dr akmal saleh),
- and Instagram (@akmalsaleh).
He emphasised that any other accounts claiming to be him are fraudulent and potentially dangerous.

A blunt ultimatum
In his post, Akmal was remarkably blunt in his address to the impersonators attempting to exploit his identity.
“To the person behind these fake accounts, may you be tormented and humiliated throughout your life, burdened by heavy debts,” he wrote.
“I hope you are cast into the depths of hell when you die. I also pray that you are sterile so that you cannot give birth to offspring who would behave like you. May your actions bring consequences as severe as the harm you cause.”
In the comments section, many users urged Akmal to take formal action by reporting the matter to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) or by initiating legal proceedings.
