A 16-year-old girl met her demise in a tragic stabbing incident at a school in Bandar Utama, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on 14 October. She was killed by a 14-year-old from the same school, who was her secret admirer, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed.

While the family and other Malaysians mourn the shocking death, the victim’s eldest sister penned a heartfelt post, expressing her sadness in seeing the victim’s fate at such a young age, and wishing for the eventual justice for her death.

The wake and funeral services for the victim commenced today (16 October) and will be held until Monday (20 October). In the post, the victim’s sister said that she was shocked by the victim’s sudden departure.

“This separation was too sudden and too heavy. Before we had the chance to meet again, you left quietly.”

“I wish you well on the other side. No more fear, no more harm, only light and peace. Rest in peace, and may justice prevail.”

In a Facebook post by the victim’s mother, she also said that her daughter had always been kind and had never left anyone worried.

“She had never asked for anything and would always put others first. She was a wonderful kid, but ended up in such a tragic fate. I am speechless, and I am extremely heartbroken.”

The suspect is currently in police custody for 7 days, and PDRM confirmed that he bought the weapons online.
