Castles in the Air is a song released by Don McLean in 1972, which paints a beautiful picture of a couple’s journey towards their eternal dream of true love and fulfillment.
This castle in the air, though, is absolutely not that.
The serembanpage Instagram account recently shared footage from Pavilion Bukit Jalil, where a HUGE bouncy castle could be seen taking to the air due to high winds.
They wrote, “When a Moving Castle rolls in Bukit Jalil. (Referring to the 2004 Japanese animated fantasy film, Howl’s Moving Castle.)”
In the video showcased, the massive bouncy castle could be seen already overturned as visitors grab their children and partners, and run for cover due to the rain and extreme winds.
It then flew and rolled across Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s outdoor space.
Thankfully, the bouncy castle didn’t fly far and landed merely meters away, upright and still within Pavilion Bukit Jalil’s outdoor space.
We genuinely hope that no one was inside the bouncy castle at the time and that no one got hurt!
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) have reported heavy rainfall and thunderstorms, which can lead to strong winds, in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.
We urge everyone to stay safe and avoid anything that could possibly be pulled into the air during this time!
You can check out the footage here.
What would you do if your child was in the bouncy castle? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
