Pets can often bring lots of joy into the lives of their owners. But while some people choose to possess unconventional animals at times, it doesn’t mean that such a notion is any less true.
One cashier worker at a pharmacy in Kedah called Farmasi MyIndah recently received a surprising yet adorable treat when she came across one Malaysian and his pet during an interaction while bagging their items at the pharmacy. The only catch is – the pet in question is a long-tailed macaques monkey.
In a clip shared to the pharmacy’s TikTok page @farmasimyindah, the monkey sat comfortably yet contently in his owners arms. Looking around the store, the cashier eventually reached towards the monkey, who reciprocated the stretch. Walking around the corner to get a little closer, the precious creature took the cashier’s hand to shake it, before giving her salaam by kissing her hand.
Quiet yet well-mannered, the monkey even allowed the cashier to rub its face before it playfully turned around to hug its owner again.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, a representative from Farmasi MyIndah stated that while they are not certain entirely, they strongly believe that the monkey does belong as a pet to the Malaysian man due to its tame and docile disposition.
Warming hearts all across the platform, many people couldn’t get over how cute the monkey was, not only by behaving well, but also through kissing the cashier’s hand.
“Take it for Hari Raya celebrations and it will receive a lot of money for sure!” light-heartedly wrote one user.

While we’d hardly suggest getting a monkey as a pet, this one takes the cake for being one of the cutest and most polite ones we’ve ever seen.
