One of the worst feelings to get is when you see an empty parking spot only to find someone physically standing there and ‘chupping’ the spot. Although it is illegal to do so, it appears as if there is still a minority of people who are still not abiding to the law.

TikTok user @larojtfl recently took to the platform to condemn a man who was ‘chupping’ an empty parking spot and whilst she was recording him, he tried to justify why he was doing so.

In the video, the man in the red shirt was saying that the parking space in question belonged to him even though he was believed to have parked his vehicle elsewhere.

The man’s actions made the person recording the video upset who tried to reprimand him, however, not only was he ignoring her, he even laughed in her face.

It is understood that the incident happened at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) when the MATTA Fair 2023 exhibition took place from March 17 to 19.

Criticised for being selfish

The video has since gone viral and currently sits on over 428,500 views. Plenty of netizens took to the comments section to condemn the actions of the man and to share what they would’ve done in that situation.

“Let him park then come back and decorate his car!”

“He looks so embarrassed yet he still wants to embarrass himself more,” said another user.

Another user said, “If it was me, I’d just reverse park and just honk the whole time until the guard gets there.”
