Most of the time, an honest restaurant will definitely attract more customers. From the serving size to the politeness of the workers, with all these things added up, surely more and more customers will prefer to drop by and makan.
On January 12, Daryl William Bridger and his wife went to Fatty Crab for its famous crab feast. Daryl’s wife was wearing a sentimental ring which was a gift from her mother. She took the ring off, put in on the table, so that she could get her hands dirty to enjoy the delicious crabs there.
Unfortunately, she left her ring there and only realised about it 30 minutes after they left. So they immediately rushed to the restaurant to find the valuable ring. Upon reaching the restaurant, Daryl wrote that:
“I commanded the auntie in charge to do spot checks on the staffs and also to find the ring by hook or by crook.”
I really couldnt put into words how grateful I am for fatty crab’s crew.”
Daryl was amazed by the helpfulness of the Fatty Crab workers as they immediately started a treasure hunt, sifting through all the rubbish bins to find the ring. What’s more, they didn’t half-heartedly attempt to find the ring, but they treated it with urgent care.
“Half of the staffs went to search all the rubbish bins. As soon as they found the ring, they applauded and cheered so loud as if it was their own ring. I was mesmerised. Such sincerity and loyalty to their customers.”
Additionally, the crew even rejected the reward that Daryl wanted to give them. From that day on, Daryl shared that Fatty Crab stole their hearts and they’ll forever remember their good deed.
Kudos to the Fatty Crab crew for being helpful although it was not compulsory for them to do so. For those who want to eat with their hands, be it for seafood or nasi kandar, we suggest that you leave you valuables at home so that the same incident would not happen to you too.
