A Malaysian man was stopped by a security guard at a building, who barred him from entering a government building due to his attire that did not comply with the dress code.
The man, who wore shorts, was only granted entry after he put on a sarong that the guard provided.

In a circulating video on Facebook, the man wore shorts, a T-shirt, and a pair of slippers to the District Land Office in Klang, Selangor.
The footage shows the man being stopped by a security guard, who made it clear to the man that he had violated the dress code and was therefore not permitted to enter the building.
The man, however, allegedly attempted to persuade the guard to let him in, but to no avail.
The guard was firm with the dress code and refused to allow entry before handing the man a piece of sarong. The man had no choice but to follow the dress code as the building does not allow shorts, so he proceeded to put on the sarong with the help of the guard.
In the video, he was also seen raising his hands to allow the guard to help put on the sarong.

The man then smiled after putting on the sarong as he entered the building to attend to his affairs.
The dress codes are there for a reason, and as visitors, it’s best to follow the guidelines to avoid trouble. What do you think of this?
