A Malaysian man recently visited an apartment in Bukit Jalil to see his girlfriend, but the night ended in tragedy.
The 25-year-old man is believed to have slipped and fallen from the 20th floor while attempting to climb over to his girlfriend’s unit.

Cheras District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhassan, said his department received a report of the incident via MERS999 at 10:45 am yesterday (August 24). According to him, initial investigations revealed that at around 3:30 am, the victim had gone to the 20th floor of the apartment to meet his girlfriend.
After failing to contact her, the man attempted to climb to her unit but slipped and fell.
He was pronounced dead by medical personnel from Kuala Lumpur Hospital due to severe head and bodily injuries. A further examination of the victim’s body and the surrounding area found no signs of foul play.

Aidil added that the victim’s body was sent to the Forensic Unit of Chancellor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital (HCTM) for a post-mortem. The case has been classified as a sudden death, Harian Metro reported.
