Wangsa Maju district police chief Superintendent Noor Azmi Yusoff stated that a minor accident occurred between the Deputy Prime Minister’s car and a van that was exiting a building, according to Astro Awani.
“Because of that incident, the van driver became angry. He then exited his vehicle and began punching the Toyota Alphard’s front windscreen until it cracked. He then left the scene after that.”
The damage the van driver had caused is estimated to be around RM3,000 according to the district police chief.
Soon after, the incident was reported to the police and the man has already been taken into police custody. Now, the case is currently being investigated under Section 427 of the Penal Code.
Well, at least no one got seriously injured in this accident. Let’s hope that the authorities thoroughly investigate this issue. Remember guys, don’t succumb to road rage no matter how frustrating traffic is!
