Recently, a video of a woman attempting to surprise her husband on his birthday went viral on TikTok.
In the video shared by @c_ehem, a woman can be seen waiting for her husband to come home eagerly right at the door while holding a birthday cake.

When her husband finally walks in, he didn’t seem to be the slightest bit surprised nor interested in the cake. He just walks past her and the cake. Not a single expression on his face to show at least appreciation. Now this is what you call a poker face!
The candles on the cake got accidentally blown out as he walked past. So, the woman lit it again and stood patiently while smiling the entire time. The man still paid no attention.

The video garnered over 18 million views, 1.3 million likes, 42.7k shares and 75.4k comments, all of which netizens expressed how sad they felt for the woman.
A few disappointed netizens said they noticed how the woman continued to smile even when her husband ignored her.
