Living in Malaysia means that we have weather that experiences PMS throughout the day. At one point of time in the day, we would probably experience rain and the next moment the sun might be a deadly laser.
On 23 September, a woman by the name of Privitha Maimaran shared a heartwarming story of how a woman selflessly shielded her grandmother from the sun.
Overnight, the post on Facebook has gotten over 14,000 shares as of the time of writing.
Privitha started by saying that she wanted to thank a stranger who had helped her grandmother on behalf of her family.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Malay lady who was using a file in her hand to protect my grandmother from the hot sun while they were waiting outside the bank for an extended period of time.”
As SOPs are still in place, bank queues can be quite long and at certain times, it might resemble a snake. Privitha told World of Buzz that this happened at a Maybank outlet in Ipoh Menglembu. Her grandmother was waiting to withdraw her pencen money.
She then said that the reason she shared this heartwarming moment was that she wanted to spread some positivity.
“The reason I’m sharing this is because, during this period of time, I want Malaysians to know that there are people still out there who doesn’t differentiate between races and respect elders across all races.”
This is certainly a very heartwarming tale! Kudos to the selfless young lady!
