“So good you can even eat it on its own”, the jingle that has been part of our lives for so many years and for a good reason too — the Gardenia loaf is an essential element for most of us growing up.

Although every Gardenia loaf comes with an expiry date, nothing can beat getting your hands on a freshly delivered loaf from their factory.

In a Facebook post, Mohd Nadzrin shared his pleasant experience with a Gardenia delivery man which has further sealed his loyalty to the brand.

Nadzrin wrote that he was at a grocery shop in Rawang looking to buy a loaf for him and his family. He picked one out of the only three loaves left on the rack. Although the expiry date for the loaf was near, Nadzrin explained that it wouldn’t last a day in his house anyway because his four kids would finish it up in no time.

At that moment, a Gardenia truck just arrived at the shop, and the driver replenished the loaves on the rack. Upon leaving the shop, the Gardenia delivery man named Fitri stopped Nadzrin. He told Nadzrin,

Bang, let me replace that loaf for you. It is almost expired. Here, take a new one.”

This small good gesture had left a good impression on Nadzrin. He even wrote to Gardenia, highlighting the act performed by Fitri, praising the training program that they might have and requesting that the company reward Fitri and even make him a model employee for his good gesture.

Kudos to Fitri for his kind gesture. Even the smallest acts can have the most significant impacts on someone’s day.
