Mamak is the ultimate symbol of Malaysia’s unity. You can get food from all different races and you can even get it at any time (that’s before the Movement Control Order of course). There’s always been a joke that the ultimate date spot for Malaysian couples should be a mamak restaurant as everyone is at their most comfortable thus it sort of takes the pressure off.
Taking this to heart, this Malaysian couple actually had a candlelight dinner at Restoran Aliff Sdn. Bhd, a mamak restaurant, famous for its out of this world menu, especially their roti canai KLCC!
The dinner was seemingly a prank set up by the couple’s friends and we’ve got to say with friends like this, you can’t go wrong!
They even got the couple a vegetable bouquet!
Netizens chimed in the comments section with how this date is goals and they would also want to celebrate their upcoming anniversaries there as well.
