The Malaysian Team has been on a roll on bagging medals at SEA Games 2019, and we have our first three gold medals for rhythmic gymnastics!
Congratulations to the two brilliant girls, Izzah Amzan and Koh Sie Yan, who definitely made us proud by scoring remarkable results in the competition. According to the New Straits Times, 19-year-old Izzah and 20-year-old Sie Yan earned three golds in total today (7 December). While the game is still on-going, Izzah is bringing home two golds for the ball and ribbon events, while Sie Yan won gold for ribbon.
While we congratulate their victories, Izzah and Amy Kwan won silver and bronze respectively in the hoop discipline earlier today. All three gymnasts celebrated their achievements at the Rizal Memorial Coliseum in the Philippines.
Malaysia has won a total of 96 medals so far, 35 of which are gold.
