A Malaysian TV personality, Ashraf Sinclair, passed away today morning at 5am due to a heart attack. This devastating news was confirmed by his wife, Bunga Citra Lestari from Jakarta. Ashraf leaves behind his wife and ten-year-old son, Noah Sinclair.
Ashraf rose to prominence as the host of Box Office Now that was once aired on ntv7. He also starred in the 2005 smash-hit, Gol & Gincu as Eddy. Needless to say, this news has shocked everyone as besides a celebrity himself, Ashraf comes from a family of prominent personalities as well. His sister, Aishah Sinclair is a radio presenter for MixFM while his brother, Adam Sinclair is married to Yuna.
Netizens and colleagues have been sending their messages of condolences upon hearing this heartbreaking news. TV presenter, Ibrahim Sani shared a touching tribute to Ashraf and his family saying how wonderful their family is and how awesome Ashraf was as a husband and father.
