Taking foreign language courses has benefits that can positively impact your future career, life, and personal outlook. If you’ve ever thought about learning a foreign language, college provides a great opportunity to do just that!
In a recent video that has been circulating online, user @kupi_chelum took to her TikTok to share an amusing clip of her and her college mates preparing for an upcoming exam.
What was initially meant to be exam preparation turned into a spontaneous role-playing session, as they attempted to act out scenes from the script they had in hand.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, @kupi_chelum revealed that she and her friends are students from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), and have to take a language course as part of their curriculum.
They delivered a performance of a lifetime
She then explained that Mandarin was tough to memorise, and as they tried to study for the exam, they started feeling sleepy because there was so much to remember.
Eventually, she shared that she and her two friends in the video decided to have a role-playing session to make it more enjoyable, turning their study session into a fun experience.
“Learning a foreign language can be quite challenging. Similar to studying for any other exam, it can become dull and make you feel sleepy. That’s why my friends and I decided to spice things up and approach it in a way that’s more engaging. This is how most guys would study for an exam!”
The 2 students really got into character, showing a lot of dedication and creativity that made it fun and believable for everyone watching.
Netizens flooded the comment section, applauding the students for their outstanding ‘performance’
“I swear, this looks just like a scene from a P. Ramlee movie casting.”
“It’s like watching a Stephen Chow movie.”
“It feels like watching one of those hilarious Chinese action-comedy flicks.”
“The plot feels out of sync with the action.”
