It’s been FOREVER since we had this multi-platinum recording artist and humanitarian perform at a sold-out show in Malaysia; six years to be exact.
But if you haven’t heard the good news yet, the one and only Maher Zain is making a comeback to Malaysia this 30 August @ Idea Live Arena, 3 Damansara!
Organised by Yayasan Tengku Abdullah (YTA), Maher Zain’s concert was announced on his social media pages on 11 June.

The voice of hope and faith
To say Maher Zain is a household name in this region’s spiritual music community is an understatement. His uplifting music and powerful message of hope, unity, and faith are as human and emotional as they come. No wonder lah Malaysian fans have been imploring him to return since his last concert here.
Since his debut in 2009 (it’s been 16 years?!), the internationally acclaimed Swedish-Lebanese artist won the hearts of Malaysians by swooning classic hits like ‘Insha Allah’, ‘Baraka Allahu Lakuma’, and ‘Thank You Allah’. Fans who show up for his upcoming concert will get to listen to him sing newer hits such as ‘Qalbi Fil Madinah’ and ‘Rahmatun Lil’Alameen’ too!
The last time Maher Zain went on tour in 2019, his shows in four cities were sold out within DAYS. Even though Malaysia wasn’t part of his 2024 world tour, we held hope that he would eventually grace our tanah air with his presence, and he finally is!
“Malaysia represents an exceptionally important chapter in my career — arguably more significant than any other nation worldwide. Few artists can point to a country that has been so instrumental in shaping the start of their singing career,” said Maher Zain via Zoom during the press conference with local media.
“To the fans who’ve waited six years — we’re coming back for you,” he adds. “Let’s make this tour something we’ll remember forever.”

With over 8 million followers on Instagram and 6.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify, it’s not surprising that tickets for his concert are being snatched up quickly, with Silver category tickets almost sold out.
