No matter how many times we need to repeat this, we must stress that dogs are really man’s best friend.

In a video that has gone viral across different social media platforms globally, a golden retriever named Harry was pictured to be protecting his young owner from her mother who scolded her. The video was originally uploaded on Douyin (Chinese version of TikTok).

In the video, you can see that as the woman kept scolding her child, the golden retriever stood by his young master’s side. When the mother nudged the dog to move, he snarled at her.

As soon as the scolding stops, the doggo then put his arms around his little owner protectively.

In an interview with Mail Online, the mother, Ms Sun who is living in Xuzhou, China said that she had recorded the video because she found it funny and infuriating.

Ms Sun said that the reason behind the scolding was because her daughter played with her newly-bought facial cream as she was busy cooking lunch in the kitchen. She said that at that time, she was genuinely angry, however, her anger melted away when she saw Harry defending her daughter.

“I was still upset but I thought it was also quite funny. It was very heart-warming. Dogs would find ways to express their love if you treat them properly.”

We certainly hope that the young girl will not get up to trouble anytime soon!
