A woman was left distressed when she discovered that her car, which was parked in a designated parking space in Cheras, was damaged by a lorry that was trying to avoid double-parked vehicles.

The UPDATEINFO X page shared CCTV footage of the incident, where the lorry could be seen damaging the woman’s parked car as it avoided a car and a motorcycle that were double-parked before leaving the scene.

UPDATEINFO wrote, “One party caused the problem, another party becomes the victim. The lorry committed a hit-and-run.”

In the CCTV footage showcased, a car can be seen double-parked at one side of the one-way street, while a motorcycle can be seen double-parked at the other side, causing the street to become narrower.

Soon after, a lorry appeared and, in an effort to avoid the 2 double-parked vehicles, ended up scraping against the back of the woman’s car that was parked in a designated parking spot.

The woman had to seek the CCTV footage from a nearby shop in order to find out what happened to her car and to identify the lorry involved.

We genuinely hope that things work out for the woman in the end, considering she did nothing wrong yet is left with damages to her vehicle.
