One of the most important aspects of staying safe during this Covid-19 climate is social distancing. This means that we should maintain at least a meter’s distance from others at all times.
Certain public places have been allowed to resume their businesses during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) as long as they ensure their customers adhere to social distancing. Hence, they’ve put up signages and stickers on their floors to indicate social distance.
The Sungai Wang Plaza on the other hand, has taken their floor stickers to a whole new level as showcased by #myjoeXikea (@myjoe_) on his Twitter page.

Instead of putting the common social distancing stickers and markers on their floors that Malaysians have a tendency of ignoring, they’ve included hard-to-disregard designs in front of their elevators and ATM machines, including one a fun one revolving around the video game, Pacman!
Their efforts have been truly fruitful as patrons of the mall can be seen following through the markers.
Kudos, Sungai Wang Plaza, for taking extra efforts to ensure the safety of our patrons to a whole new and interesting level!
We can’t wait to see other malls implementing such creative designs to their markers and signages as well.
