Life is always at its peak when your dream comes true. Local actress Nia Atasha recently shared her excitement on Instagram and revealed that she was chosen to be part of a campaign from Victoria’s Secret, the famous global lingerie company.
This also marks the 1st Malay model in the company and Nia made it clear that she was still in disbelief about this dream of hers that came true.
“I’m honestly still processing everything and currently in pinch-me mode. Teenage Nia wouldn’t have believed this.”
In her post, Nia also expressed her excitement and gratitude for being able to work with the Malaysian and American teams of the company. Victoria’s Secret Malaysia also shared the campaign via its Instagram page. To recap Nia’s experience, the local actress described what it was like to shoot with an all-female team.
“From start to finish, everyone involved in this campaign exudes female power and within this empowering environment, I feel truly safe and supported.”
In an interview, Nia admitted that it has always been 1 of her dreams, and it was truly an honour to be 1 of the faces of Victoria’s Secret.
“It has always been my dream since I started my modelling career, and here we are! It’s a big deal and it’s going to be in all international stores,” Nia happily expressed.
Congratulations and criticisms
On Instagram, many netizens expressed their happiness to see Nia achieving her long-time dream and congratulated her for the achievement.
In the meantime, some netizens don’t think it’s a good idea for Nia to be involved in this career given her background.
“She belongs in Hell and she’s a poison. No need to defend her.”
“I see many men backing her up. A sin is still a sin.”
“There goes the dignity of a Malay woman, who is supposed to be polite. Hopefully, everything ends well for her.”
Congratulations to Nia for achieving your dream!
