Little M’sian Chinese Boy Greets & Hands Out Duit Raya to Rider for Delivering Food in the Rain

After a couple of years of adapting to the new normal during Hari Raya, we’re back to celebrating in the good old traditional way. For many, one of the most exciting parts is receiving duit raya.

In a recent heartwarming video posted by Malaysia’s former National Badminton Player, @tbh77_oe, a food delivery rider can be seen dropping off the food that he and his family had ordered.

In celebration of Hari Raya

In the video, as the food rider handed over the food to the family, Tan’s son could be seen excitedly wishing the rider “Selamat Hari Raya“.

Not only did the boy give him a warm greeting, but he even reached out his hand to give the man duit raya. The rider was seen smiling as he accepted the sampul duit raya.

He delivered the food despite the pouring rain

The former badminton player expressed his gratitude towards the rider, highlighting how, despite the pouring rain, the rider still managed to deliver the food he had ordered for his son.

The caption of the post reads,

“Even in the pouring rain, the rider still managed to deliver the food we ordered for our son.”

 

Netizens couldn’t resist expressing their love and support for the family’s act of kindness in the comment section.
