Ahh, college. A phase where time doesn’t seem to stop and one’s innovative skill heightens.

Getting food delivered is nothing new when living in dorms because admittedly cooking can be a hassle or just not permitted. Want to save money also cannot!

And you know how sometimes you’ve ordered food but you are simply too lazy to go get it?

Well, this student from China came up with an ingenious way to solve that. Instead of going down to pick up her delivery she picked it up from her room window. Laziness must’ve taken over her that day because the girl got innovative!

She tied up bedsheets together to make a long rope that reached all the way down from the 6th floor and attached a basket for the delivered goods to be put into.

You know how Rapunzel lets down her hair for the love of her life? Yup, it’s exactly that. Case in point; the student is Rapunzel and the food is- well- the love of her life. And as Malaysians, I’m sure most of us can agree!

The student, from Henan University of Technology, definitely saved herself the hassle of walking down and back up six flights of stairs.

Here’s a visual if you can’t picture it:

Turns out she wasn’t the first one to come up with this lazy life hack:

Admittedly Malaysians have been doing this for quite some time too. Perhaps this is just a common trait all Asians share?

What do you guys think? Would you ever put this hack to use?
