Earlier, the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) of the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) will be closing and redirecting roads for President Xi Jinping’s visit to Malaysia from April 15 to 17, 2025.
17 routes will be impacted by these closures and diversions, which will last about 30 to 45 minutes while the delegation moves through certain areas. The roads will reopen once the delegation has passed.

KLIA Terminal 2 will be inaccessible
Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) announced on their official Facebook page that the departure hall, arrival hall, and parking areas at KLIA Terminal 2 will be closed to vehicles.
“Terminal 2 will only be accessible via KLIA Transit from Terminal 1. Passengers arriving at Terminal 2 will need to take the KLIA Transit to Terminal 1 to continue their journey,” they said.

Full road closures will take place on April 15 (6PM to 7PM) and April 17 (from 8:50AM to 9:50AM). The affected roads include:
- Lebuh KLIA
- ELITE Highway
- Putrajaya Ring Road
- Putrajaya-Dengkil Highway

They’re also suggesting an alternative route for drivers: ELITE Highway (E6) > Exit at Serenia Toll > Kota Warisan (Masjid Roundabout) > Jalan KLIA 1 > Charterfield Roundabout > Terminal 1 KLIA (departure, arrival, and parking areas).
