Oh damn!
Berita Harian shared the latest pictures of the KL (Kuala Lumpur’s) iconic skyscraper – the Petronas Towers aka KLCC – on their Facebook page and quite frankly, we are very worried because it looks like the haze is only getting worse as days pass by.
You can check out the worrying pictures below:
“KLCC in Kuala Lumpur can’t be seen clearly due to haze. This picture was captured at 8.30am.”
Oh dear!
However, a quick check on the APIMS website shows that the air quality level in KL is actually slightlyyy better and KL areas’ API reading (Air Pollution Index) is at 144, as of 9.00am today.
Yesterday (18 September 2019), the API reading in KL areas – Batu Muda & Cheras – was between 184 and 203. Having said that, the air quality in KL is still unhealthy because of the thick haze that’s clouding our visibility and affecting our health.
We all are suffocating once we step outdoors.
On that note, we urge everyone to wear the proper mask to protect yourselves from the toxic air and keep in mind to always stay hydrated. And, if it’s possible, please stay indoors as much as you can. Be safe, guys!
