Based on KKM’s latest update, there are 3 new cases today (23 June), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 8,590. From those numbers, a total of 8,186 patients have been cured and discharged, including today’s 9 patients.
Thankfully, there are no deaths as of today, keeping the number of casualties to 121.
All 3 of the new cases reported today are local infections, where one patient is a Malaysian while the other two are foreigners.
Now that we’re in the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO), we should still follow the standards of procedures in place to help ensure that a second outbreak does not happen.
This means who should maintain practising social distancing, wearing masks in public and avoiding crowded places.
