Soon after he was defeated in GE15, many have wondered what’s next for Khairy Jamaluddin.

KJ started his new job as a DJ for a local radio station today, and he’s obviously not stopping there. Just this afternoon (February 15), less than 12 hours after signing in as a radio DJ, the Johor Darul Ta’zim Football Club announced that they have found themselves a new director, and it is none other than our legendary KJ!

Simply put, KJ is now not only a DJ but also director of JDT Football Club.

In an Instagram post today, JDT Football Club welcomed KJ as their new director and congratulated him on his appointment as a member of the JDT Board of Directors, following the announcement made by the Crown Prince of Johor, HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim.

“JDT also congratulates Khairy on his appointment as Johor Youth Advisor.”

In his IG story today, the Crown Prince of Johor also welcomed KJ as the newly appointed director by saying “Welcome home, champions!”

As for KJ himself, he has also responded to the appointment via a statement on his Facebook and said he’s excited to be part of JDT Football Club.

“I will contribute some of the experience I have to help DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor in His Majesty’s vision to make JDT FC the most superior football club in the Asian continent.”

But that’s not all. KJ revealed that he has many other plans for the state.

“I will also help realise the wishes of DYAM Tunku Mahkota Johor in empowering the youth of the Johor nation through education, training, entrepreneurship, welfare and also provide appropriate protection to teenagers and children.”

KJ’s appointment as the new director of JDTFC has gained much support from fellow Malaysians, who are excited to see him getting the recognition he deserves.

“A person with quality work will always have jobs to do.”

“Thank God, it’s his fate!”

“He’s a DJ, he’s the director of a football club. This might not sit well with Zahid Hamid’s gang.”

“He’s starting his job as a DJ, and the director of a football club on the same day.”

“He’s roaring. Congratulations!”

“KJ is indeed someone who can work.”

We would also like to congratulate Khairy Jamaluddin for his appointment as the director of JDTFC, as well as his new job as a radio DJ!
