When Khairul was on the stage to receive his award, he had a lot to say, especially gratitude words toward his family and fans who have always been there throughout his 8 years of journey as a content creator.

“I hope my late father can see this achievement. I’ve worked hard for 8 years,” he sobbed.

“It’s not just about going viral”

However, the celebrity chef also had a friendly reminder to the youth out there, including those who have dreams to become a content creator in the future.

“Never abandon your studies even if you have dreams to become a content creator,” Khairul reminded the youth who are still pursuing their studies.

Becoming a content creator may bring you a lot of money and fame, especially if netizens find your content helpful, informative, or even hilarious. However, there’s more than that when it comes to finding fame online, and Khairul reminded the people that it’s not just about going viral by sharing some wise words for everyone to ponder about.

“To stay relevant in this industry, you need to have a lot of knowledge, such as critical thinking and problem solving. You also need to have manners and common sense,” he explained.

Khairul ended his speech by reminding the youth to finish their studies and if they’re jumping onto the bandwagon to become a content creator, be a good creator that improve the industry in Malaysia.
