Memes are certainly the way to people’s hearts and it seems that Kepong MP, Lim Lip Eng is highly aware of this and is employing this method to get to the people.
In his newest Twitter thread where he wanted to promote one of his friends as a candidate for N22 Teratai (Selangor), he made a very meme-worthy poster that got the attention of a lot of netizens.
The background of the photo is a very nice picture of the KLCC twin towers and their surroundings. The main focus of the poster is definitely Lim Lip Eng and his friend Yew Jia Haur shaking hands.
Surrounding them is text using the Comic Sans font in the primary colours saying, “Other people don’t care, Jia Haur is my best friend.”
In the rest of the thread, he talked about how Jia Haur is someone who is very responsible and dedicated and that people in the Teratai DUN should definitely vote for him.
Netizens in the comments were absolutely in love with his poster and have expressed it. The MP replied to their enthusiasm with more memes.
While some believe that he should definitely hire a graphic designer.
Well, we hold the opinion that he should continue being a meme poster on Twitter (while still doing his day job well of course!).
