Kelantan Sultan’s Wife Announces The Birth Of Their Baby Boy on Instagram After “Difficult Pregnancy”

In a post on Instagram, 25-year-old former Russian beauty queen Oksana Voevodina officially announced the birth of her son, the first child with her husband, Sultan Muhammad V of Kelantan. Their son was reportedly born on 21st May 2019.

An excerpt from her Instagram post, written in both English and Russian, reads,

“Everything that I was told about the changes occurring with a woman after the birth of a baby is true. This love is special. These feelings are completely new. I am grateful to Allah and my husband for our son.”

“Now there are three of us. Thank you for choosing our family, Tengku Ismail Leon Petra Bin Tengku Muhammad V Faris Petra.”

Calling it the most important yet most difficult period in her life, the Kelantan Sultan’s wife also shared her pregnancy story in a previous post on her Instagram, saying,

“The last three months of pregnancy I spent in hospitals, staying in bed with droppers in my both hands. I had too many difficulties with pregnancy. The support of my closest people and my love for my son and Faith in the best helped me in that not simple time. Alhamdulillah for the safe outcome of pregnancy.”

It was the most important and, at the same time, the most difficult period in my life. The last three months of pregnancy I spent in hospitals, staying in bed with droppers in my both hands. The former Agong and Russian beauty queen were both officially married on 7th June 2018, months before a gorgeous reception was held in Moscow, Russia in November later that year.
