Some people who live in condominiums prefer keeping their shoes inside their houses as some of their shoes might be expensive, but most people usually leave their shoes outside because…. duh, they stink!

Of course, this means that their shoes are ‘out in public’ and can be taken at anytime by anyone.

Two videos posted on Facebook shows this to be true as two Singaporean ladies can be seen having a ball as they browsed through a shoe rack in front of a HDB unit in Teck Whye on 8th July. It’s funny to see how they casually pulled out shoe after shoe and examined them like they were legit on a shoe shopping spree.

In the first video uploaded by Nur Ashiqin Muhammad Kyaizam, the two ladies can be seen squatting in front of the shoe rack as they probably intended to steal a pair or two, when it appears that they heard something or someone from the house or the corridor and immediately ran off.

However, in the second video, one of the girls came back and started looking around when suddenly she noticed a surveillance camera. She instantly put her hand over her face and walked off.

What’s hilarious is that Nur Ashiqin described the whole situation as the girls’ “Cinderella Journey to Prison” in her captions.

“1st video Happened on Saturday night, these 2 brave young ladies seems to be brazenly choosing which lucky shoes and flip flops they would like for their Cinderella journey to prison. Well take your time to choose. Help me spread the word ya,” she wrote.

Well, I only got one question to ask: What kind of shoes does a thief wear? Sneakers.
