Recently, some of the victims from the Batang Kali landslide tragedy had met with rescuers from the Hulu Selangor District Civil Defense Force to share their appreciation.

And now, the K9 unit who worked tirelessly alongside the rescuers are also getting the gratitude they deserve.

BERNAMA took to their Facebook page to showcase the K9 unit receiving the ‘Golden Performance’ medal.

They wrote, “The K9 Unit dogs involved in the search and rescue operation for landslide victims in Batang Kali received the ‘Golden Performance’ medal from the Minister of Local Government Development Nga Kor Ming in Putrajaya, today (January 9).”

The doggies looked absolutely dapper as they received their medals.

And might we add, they also deserve pets, a belly rub and treats!

Many have since also shared their appreciation, not just for the doggies’ hard work but also that of their handlers, during that trying time.
