The 26-year-old edged out his 9 other opponents namely Azhar Yahya (PN), A Kohilan Pillay (BN), Tian Chua (IND), Wan Azliana (Pejuang), Siti Kasim (IND), Nur Fathiah Syazwana @ Cleo (IND), Nathan Batu (Warisan), Zulkifli Fattah (PRM) and Too Gao Lan (IND).
