Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has resigned as Prime Minister and has addressed the nation live in a press conference today (16 August).

In his speech, he assured Malaysians that there would be enough vaccines for everyone.

He stresses that the momentum of the vaccination programme should not be disrupted and adds that Malaysia has achieved and must maintain the highest number of daily vaccinations in the world.

He said that over 87 million doses of vaccine have been ordered for the people which costs RM4.36 billion.

“You don’t have to worry. My cabinet has ordered more than enough vaccine for all of you,” he said.

“If the vaccination programme goes well, all of you will get vaccinated by end of October.”
