JUST IN: BN Loses Putrajaya For The First Time Ever, PN’s Radzi Jidin Emerges as Winner

Bersatu Vice President Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin, who is also the Perikatan Nasional candidate for the Putrajaya parliamentary seat, was announced as the winner of the parliamentary seat after obtaining a majority of 2,310 votes.

The confirmation was made by the Putrajaya Parliamentary Elections Officer, Shamshul Joehari Zainal Mokhtar at the vote tallying center at the Precinct 9 Neighborhood Complex Hall here, just now.

Radzi obtained 16,002 votes defeating the 4-term incumbent of the seat, Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor from Barisan Nasional (BN) who has held the seat ever since GE11 back in 2004.

The official results saw Tengku Adnan get (13,692) followed by Pakatan Harapan candidate, Dr Noraishah Mydin Abdul Aziz (5,988); Pejuang candidate, Datuk Mohd Rosli Ramli (878): Independent candidate, Samsudin Mohamad Fauzi (63) and another independent candidate, Lim Fice Bee (20).
