Alice Chang, who once “dominated” the internet with her string of controversies, has made fewer appearances online lately. Now, a prominent Malaysian lawyer believes it is high time for her to make a positive change in her life.

Lawyer Kang Jau Sang, who is also an internet personality, recently admitted that he has never been a huge fan of Alice, though he assured followers that he holds nothing personal against her.

“She is merely human, not a bad person.”

In his Facebook post, Kang attributed his perception of Alice to her attitude towards her career and her pattern of frequent job-hopping. Kang, who has collaborated with Alice on several occasions in the past, mentioned that she often behaved “weirdly” at work.

He noted that due to her constant job changes, the public has grown tired of her antics. Regardless, he highlighted that despite the controversies, Alice remains human.

“She is not a bad person. Sometimes, I cannot help but empathise with her,” he wrote.

A Lunar New Year’s wish for stability

Ahead of the Chinese New Year, Kang shared that he wishes that she finds a stable, fulfilling job and finally settles down. He added that he hopes she would live a good life and stop “torturing” herself by chasing online attention, which frequently leads to trouble.

“I am not asking her to be exceptionally successful, but at least, just be normal,” Kang concluded at the end of his post.

Over the past few years, Alice has frequently changed jobs, with each stint lasting only a short time. During one of her previous job interviews, Alice even attempted to conceal her identity in hopes of securing the position, though her efforts were ultimately unsuccessful.
