Pythons are all the rage today, as more and more captures are made on a weekly basis. Be it on the roof or on trees, we Malaysians are experts when it comes to catching pythons and other dangerous snakes for that matter.

Captured on video, an attempt to capture a python hiding in a nearby gutter was caught on tape in Johor.

Being Malaysians, any attempts to do work would not be complete without the involvement of bystanders – either giving orders, play-by-play narrative or commentators without doing any form of meaningful work in the process.

Truthfully we can do a lot better without these types of individuals around, but what can you do when the one commentating is the elder in your village?

Just roll with the punches.

Mak cik yang rakam ni boleh jadi pengulas yang hebat.Lokasi kejadian Parit Pulai, Parit sulong

Posted by Persatuan Bangsa Johor on Saturday, January 11, 2020

Shared by Facebook page Persatuan Bangsa Johor, one Makcik became the star of the show when she became more of a hindrance during a python capturing session in Parit Sulong, Johor.

Screaming, shrieking and giving opinions on what should the ‘experts’ do, the Makcik took away the attention from the snake onto herself and became the target of kampong folk, who attempted to tease her during the capturing process.

Using expressions such as “Oh my Lord!” and “My hero”, the Makcik has successfully brought humor to the party.

Despite all that, the efforts taken by the kampong folk to capture the snake was somewhat successful and cool as they did it without using any form of special equipment or protective gear.

Here are several images of the capture.

Despite the snake putting up a huge fight in the end, attempting to bite a member of the squad, the dangerous situation was avoided and the capture was a success.

Huzzah!

Clearly experts in their own right when it comes to capturing snakes, we advise members of the public to NOT TRY THIS AT HOME, not all of us are cut out to be Steve Irwin or Crocodile Dundee.
