As if having to amputate both legs wasn’t terrible enough, now the poor abused boy from Johor is also losing one of his arms!

In a report by The Star, Mohamad Thaqif Amin Mohd Gaddafi went into the operating theatre of Hospital Sultan Ismail at around 8am on April 26, 2017. However, the surgery was delayed due to the boy’s unstable heart rate.

The boy’s aunt, Dzuraidah Ahmad, 38, explained that there was no other choice but to amputate the his arm, seeing as there wasn’t any improvement even after treatment.

Even though the poor kid did show signs of improvement on Sunday, the fingers on his right hand remained black due to damaged blood cells and tissues.

The upset aunt told the press,

“The doctors told us that the most important thing is saving the boy’s life and we trust them as they tried their level best to avoid cutting off his arm earlier.”

“We want to prevent the infection from spreading to the rest of his body and causing more problems.”

The abuse was perpetrated by the assistant warden in the boy’s school in Kota Tinggi, Johor. The suspect is a 29-year-old ex-convict.

The man had used a water hose to whip this poor boy and several other kids as punishment.

Due to the horrible abuse, poor Thaqif suffered severe blue-black injuries, blood clots and a bacterial infection in his limbs which severely damaged his legs, causing both of them to be amputated.

UPDATE: News has just broke that the boy’s surgery has now been aborted due to his unstable heart, which means he is unfortunately in a much more critical condition now.

The boy’s aunt told reporters, “Pray for the best for Thaqif…the operation on his hand will not occur. His condition is not stable. It is more critical.”

We hope that Taqif pulls through and finds strength during his recovery.
