A man hailed from Japan was found dead in a peculiar way – buried under various clippings of porn magazine at the time he was found.
In an interview by NikkanSpa, a man who specialized in cleaning after the homes of the deceased and discarding embarrassing goods without the family’s knowledge, shed some light on an interesting case he worked on.
The 50 years old deceased, who is only known as Joji, was found dead six month after his death due to various circumstances. He was reportedly to have died due to a heart attack.
Joji, who lived in a two bedroom apartment, died a lonely death, also known as “kodokushi.” At the time of his death, 6000 kilograms of erotic literature was found by workers who cleaned the home of the deceased. Clippings were found to be scattered throughout the floor, tables and shelves, filling every space of the flat.
Joji’s porn collection is a huge reason as to why he wasn’t found immediately following his death. The massive haul of magazines prolonged the discovery by absorbing fluids from his decomposed body. The fluids are often the reason a body is found due to their unpleasant odor.
It was also held that Joji’s body is likely found after his landlord came to inquire about the unpaid rent, only to be greeted by a house of pornography magazine. At the time he was alive, Joji was a former employee of a major automobile company.
