Japan’s Adult Video (AV) industry is famed all over the world and we know that their ‘videos’ have many fans in Malaysia too. Don’t pretend like you’re not one of them! And if you’ve watched those videos and thought to yourself, “Hey, I can do better than them!”, well, then here’s your chance.

That’s because the AV industry in Japan is having trouble looking for male actors and one particular company called Tokyo Dreams has decided to come to Kuala Lumpur to look for new talents.

Yes, it sounds like it’s true, as the company has allegedly previously sourced for fresh blood in Singapore and held auditions. Apparently, out of the 25 men who attended, five of them were chosen to be the new faces in the industry.

Don’t be shocked that only 25 men turned up for Singapore’s audition, as the audition was done in secret and Malay Mail reports that the producers only leaked clues about the time and venue for the hopeful porn stars to figure out. I guess you gotta have brains as well as other ‘talents’.

It is expected that Malaysia’s auditions will be held largely in the same way, because after all, we are a conservative country and it doesn’t look like this sort of thing is strictly legal here.

Studio recruitment manager, Shime Tashiaki said, “We saw some excellent actors at the Singapore auditions and offered a total of five contracts to the men who performed best.”

“We now hope to find more talented actors at our Malaysian auditions, due to be held in Kuala Lumpur. At this point, we are in the process of finding a suitable venue.”

While this is not the first time that rumours of such auditions have taken place in Malaysia (or maybe they were covered up so well that nobody even knew!), it appears that this time around, the auditions will be reportedly held from mid to late June.

So, if you are interested, then you know what to do!
