This Thursday (October 2), Jalan Istana in Klang will be closed from 8 AM to 10 AM to allow for the wedding procession of Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
In a statement, Klang District Police Chief ACP Ramli Kasa said that while other roads in Klang won’t be closed, traffic police will be on duty to keep things under control.

No other roads will be closed
Ramli added that no road closures will take place in other Selangor districts not involved in the ceremony, and traffic there will run as usual.
He also reminded the public not to fall for fake notices or messages from irresponsible parties, and to only trust official updates from the police.
“We really appreciate the public’s cooperation in helping ensure the ceremony goes smoothly,” he said.

The royal wedding of Tengku Amir Shah and his bride, Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz, will feature a grand procession in a royal vehicle from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery to Istana Alam Shah.
For traffic updates or more details about the ceremony, Ramli said the public can reach out to the South Klang District Police operations room at 03-33719999.
