Animal shelters are usually run by people who selflessly help stray animals by providing them with a safe space and ensuring that they are fed. But, often times, these shelters need assistance to keep themselves afloat.

One shelter in Ipoh, Perak, is now calling for help as they are running out of food for their shelter dogs.

The Happy Tails Shelter took to their TikTok page to showcase their dogs while asking for donations in order for them to be able to purchase more food.

They wrote, “Dog food is needed urgently to keep our furbabies’ bellies full. Your support makes a life saving difference.”

They explained that people can either donate dog food or make monetary contributions so that they can purchase the food themselves.

“(Please) donate dog food, big or small. Every kibble counts. Spread love, share food, save lives.”

Should you wish to donate dog food, you can reach out to Happy Tails Shelter here. If you wish to make a monetary contribution, you can do so via banking. The details are as follows:

Name: Pertubuhan Pencinta Haiwan Terbiar Kasih Belaian Ipoh Perak
Bank: Public Bank
Account number: 3228993701

Even the smallest contribution can end up keeping a soul fed and alive.
