This is just next level CREATIVE!
A series of photos posted on Facebook shows how a digital artist takes random photos from Google like Indomie, Kopiko, and even Laurier sanitary pads to create a portrait of a woman.
The man from Liberia, who now lives in Indonesia, seems to love drawing digital portraits of anime characters, which are featured on his Facebook account.
But on 2nd July 2019, he posted a series of photos which is unlike any of his drawings, and it appears that he did it all on a smartphone app.
In the photos, he shows his drawing process, where he takes a random image and uses the colours in that image to form the object he intends to draw.
Like how he takes an image of Indomie, forms a head shape with it and digitally mixes the image’s colours together to form a beige colour.
1. INDOMIE for head
2. KOPIKO for eyes
He even uses Kopiko to form eyes, and from this point on, you can see how he begins piecing together a portrait of a woman.
3. LAYS for lips
4. LAURIER sanitary pad for eyebrows
5. Black garbage bag for hair
He also uses an image of a white plastic bag with red text to form the shirt in the portrait.
Here’s the finished product!
Wow! Look at the transformation! This artist really thought out of the box and created something unique that I’m sure many other artists have never thought of.
