Previously, we shared how the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) reunited a 15-year-old Malaysian teen with his family after he was accidentally left behind at Tapah R&R.
Well, it looks like some Malaysians need to be more observant of the whereabouts of their children while on the road as another similar incident happened recently, this time involving a 6-year-old boy.
As shared by the Raub District Police on its official Facebook page, PDRM received information from a concerned citizen that the boy was left all alone at a stall in Medan Selera Simpang Kallang in Raub, Pahang on Wednesday (15 May).
The boy was then brought to the Raub police station, with the police thankfully being able to contact his close kin.
In the post, the Raub District Police elaborated that the 6-year-old was brought by his family to the stall to eat.
Furthermore, his mother was leaving for Kelantan after the family ate there while the boy’s father was heading to Kuala Lumpur.
A miscommunication arose afterwards as the mother thought that the boy would follow his father, while the father thought that he would accompany his mother.
In the end, the boy was left all alone at the stall but thankfully, concerned citizens who were at the vicinity kept him company and called the police.
The boy was then picked up by his father at the Raub police station. Making this case as an example, PDRM advises all parents and guardians out there to be vigilant on the whereabouts of their children to avoid any unwanted incidents.
