A woman in Singapore has taken to social media in an attempt to retrieve her lost iPhone 16 Plus, which she ended up in Johor Bahru.

According to Facebook user Oriero Angelyn, she accidentally left her iPhone in the women’s restroom at Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ) on top of the tissue dispenser on New Year’s Day.

After realising that she had forgotten her phone, she returned to the cubicle only to find that her phone was missing.

On January 2, she posted in the Complaint Singapore Facebook group, hoping to get help recovering her phone.

She shared photos of the tracking app on her Apple Watch, revealing that her phone appeared to be in Johor Bahru when she checked it.

In her post, she addressed the person who took her iPhone and pleaded for whoever found it to show some compassion and return her phone, which she had worked hard to buy.

“You must be working in Paya Lebar Quarter or were a last-minute shopper as you were still in the mall while it was almost closing time,” she said.

“The New Year just started, I hope you will choose to be kind. I bought it with my hard-earned money and I know you understand how it feels.”

Meanwhile, she also shared that she had tried calling her phone, but the person who took it did not answer and that once the phone reached JB, the line became “unavailable”.

Netizens urged her to file a police report and notify mall management about her lost phone. Some suggested that she travel to Johor Bahru, report the theft to local authorities, and ask for their help in visiting the person’s address.

We hope that whoever took her phone eventually returns it back to her.
